I'm Back !

Just as the title says, IM BACK ! been almost eight months since my last post about vinny and WOW has a lot happened. just gonna do a breif run down, not word to much, just HIGHLIGHTS if you will. lets start from ... well where i left off, march. vinny was ok, was released the following day i believe and started rite up with the team, Dodgers, for the cactus league, boy did i have high hope. baseball season came and went for us dodger fans, after broxton, kuo, and either made it to anahiem for the all-star game, the team still fell 2 games under .500 in what was torre's last blue season. donnie will be the successor. wild move rumor this off-season, but IN DON WE TRUST. and this post season has been a some what exciting one, 4 teams swept, but the WS match up between the texas rangers & the very much hate, at least in LA, san francisco giants, SF has a 2-0 series lead, GM 3 tonight in arlington. another L.A. team of mine, the CLIPPERS, also tickled my fanny for nothin, finishing with what i believe was a 30-79 rec., still better than the previous. and of course the fucking lakers pulled of the repeat in a exciting nba finals, one for the history books. that whoe post season was great, from celtics gettin out of the first round and loosing in the finals in game 7, to ron artest becoming a HERO ... yup, the indiana hooligan got a ring. the 2010-2011 season just kicked off this part tuesday and the clips ... well are the clips, fallin 0-2 last night to the warriors. but we FINALLY got blake griffin, our repeat rookie, with an outstanding opener for him, 20pts-16rb-4ass., yup, hes gonna have a GREAT season. now on to the beautiful game, SOCCER !!! the worlds speculated best lived up to expectations, SPAIN ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS. i still dont blame robben, thought he did have TWO chances to single handedly win the world cup. wasnt the most exciting finally, but still a nail bitter. MLS, after last seasons heart breaking finally, the LA GALAXY are back in the chase. possibly the best team in the league rite now, really hoppin for the NY-LA final. they take on the seatle sounders tomrrow nite at quest field. EPL, up and down season for the devils, missing out on KEY points, chelsea retain the title since 06. united also was knocked out of the CL to bayer, who lost the final to INTER. and te most exciting move this summer for us mexicans, JAVIER "EL CHICHARITO" HERNANDEZ signed with the old trafford outfit. first mexican player in man utd history, and his not disappointing !!! enough about that. so yeah, that it as far as sports. other shit: knee injury, out f soccer for 4 months now, got an iphone, AWESOME, lost all my doggies, got a new one, kickass boston terrier/bulldog mix. hate my job. ps3 + fifa 11. blah blah blah. will try and post some stuff at least once a week, so till then, HAPPY BURFDAY TO ME !!! vin scully was hospitalized tonight, reports say hes gonna be "ok", which i hope is true, but im gonna have to hold out till i hear/see something in the mornin. HOPE YOU'RE WELL VINNY ! WE NEED YOU !!!

THE UPGRADE !

just upgraded my from my CTR360 Libretto's, to the Trequartista's, haven't kicked around in them yet, not till friday's game and actually gonna keep these as my game boots ONLY, kinda lame, but these boots were on the "pricy side" for me so i kinda wanna keep'em fresh ... for however long that is. the detailing is cleaner in these, so i can only imagine how the Maestri's look. SLIGHTLY heavier, maybe 4oz, not too bad. snugger, which i like, think it'll keep my foot from rubbing and queefing. maybe post an update after my game friday night.

CTR360 !

one thing i love about nike, besides their boots, is their shipping ! i ordered my boots on 2/12, left the warehouse on 2/13 and received them on 2/16. for reagular ground shipping, thats pretty fast !

i tried them out as soon as i got home and WOW ... these are some pretty fucking awesome shoes !!! the fit is amazing on my foot ! i have a wide foot and thought these boots did look a little narrow, but when i laced up, the soft leather and pods just formed to it. only took about 20-30 minutes to break them in, once that happened, it was very swift clean ball control. the touch on these is great, i know thats the whole concept/idea/design of this boot but DID NOT expect it to be that good ! weighing in at just under 10oz, the speed is also another plus, along with traction which help me on my pivots and take offs. the longer heel studs and spinergy in the middle of the foot are great on stance and support ! all around a very very good boot, didnt expect it to be this good ... liked these so much im gonna get them in another color, glad i got these ..... and to think, i only have the LIBRETTO's ! kudos nike !

IM NO SUPERMAN !

so tomorrow i finish up my second week at my new job and shit is goin pretty good, besides the fact that im still not really use to a 9-5 and still gotta wait till next wednesday for my first paycheck, no complaints. i actually will be attending my first company x-mas party EVER tomorrow night, so i had to buy gifts for strangers ! but oh well, im getting something in return and its something i asked for(ihope). chill job, untill you have phones blowing up and have patients droppin one rite after the other, then shit can get hecktic ! but it sure makes the time fly by. its kinda funny ... my shifts at the teen center and ikea some how seemed longer than these ... plus i get more hours in 3 days then i did in TWO(2) WEEKS!!! which means im out this bitch cuz i got work in the mornin !

THE FINAL DRAW !!!
yup, the final 32 teams will be set to their final groups consisting of 8 four team groups. with my most important one (USA's) having the three CONCACAF teams, US, MEX, HON.
the draw will take place this firday, DECEMBER 4th, 2009 at 9am (PST).
now the thing that blows about that is i have work so i wont be able to attend any of the parties nor will i be able to watch it, so if anyone knows if its gonna have RADIO COVERAGE, please let me know. it will be very well appreciated.
